From a Customer Sketch to a CNC-Ready Cut List - Without the Million-Dollar Mistakes

A vertical SaaS that turns human design intent into precise, machine-ready production data - for an industry where one millimetre of error means the cabinet doesn't fit.

Built for the woodworking and custom cabinetry industry, this platform replaces hand-drawn sketches, spreadsheets, and CNC retyping with a single design-to-production flow - finished with AI-assisted layouts, structured customer input, and machine-specific exports.

Le problème

Avant nous

Custom cabinetry is one of the most operationally fragile industries we have ever worked in. Every job is bespoke. Every dimension is sensitive. A 1mm error and a kitchen cabinet doesn't fit the wall. The handoff from a homeowner's idea to a CNC-ready cut list lived in spreadsheets, paper notes, and the heads of a few expert operators. Pricing was slow. Verification was nearly impossible. Errors compounded down the line.

Notre solution

Ce que nous avons construit

We built a single platform that lets a customer or contractor upload a kitchen plan, get AI-assisted cabinetry suggestions, refine the design inside the application, and generate machine-specific CNC exports for the exact materials, panel sizes, edge bands, and finishing profiles required. Everything from human intent to CNC output now lives in one auditable, structured flow.

Le résultat

Quatre mois plus tard

Production preparation went from a multi-day expert ritual to a structured process anyone in the workshop could execute. Re-entry into CNC machines disappeared. Human errors dropped sharply. Workshops scaled output without adding a single new specialist.

The Challenge

A 1 mm error kills the entire kitchen

Custom woodworking is unforgiving in a way most software industries never experience. A misread on a wall measurement, a mistyped panel width, a confused finishing direction - any of them can write off a kitchen, a built-in, an entire room of cabinetry. The expensive part isn't the wood. It's the rework, the missed install date, and the trust the contractor loses with the homeowner.

Industry context

The translation gap nobody had solved

Every cabinet shop on earth runs into the same problem: customers describe what they want in human terms, machines need millimetre-perfect dimensions, and the only thing connecting those two worlds is a tired specialist with a tape measure and a spreadsheet. That bridge person is the bottleneck, the single point of failure, and - quite often - the most expensive employee in the building.
